Last night, Calgary's social scene experienced the second Schmancy fundraising extravaganza, in support of Glenbow Museum.
Since the very beginning, the vision of this event was to deliver a memorable evening of a unique cultural experiences set against the backdrops of the museum's amazing exhibits - and.....it did truly fulfilled its promise!!
The evening began with its VIP Reception in the beautifully designed space, followed by the feature presentation of renowned Canadian radio&TV journalist, "The Hour" host - George Stroumboupoulos, this time interviewed on the stage by Canadian actress, producer - Rebecca Northan.
After fantastic&funny talking - all guests could choose their own adventure, partying on three floors!!
The rooms were filled with live music entertainment - Decidedly Jazz Danceworks, Jk & The Static, Sophie Serafino - as well as extraordinary cuisine, cocktails and conversations. But what is more unique, art lovers had a chance to check the gallery and its unique exhibitions, such as "Made in Calgary: The 1960's Preview Exhibition"; " Mavericks and First Nations Galleries and Entertainment" and "Art Park Silent Auction" featuring the 11 wonderful works of art that have been donated by some of local galleries and their artists.
And of course - all party goers couldn't enjoy themselves more than dancing all night long to the sounds of music provided by Australian DJ Sideshow at the Club Pivot Lounge...
So far, it was definitely one of the Schmanciest & fanciest night in our city...
