Documentary movies - and especially those based on true stories - always leave an impact in people's life - even if only for a short period of time, they can be a great eye-opener for what is important in our everyday race.
On November 21, 2010, professional triathlete Janelle Morrison was almost killed in a head on collision near Revelstoke, BC. When she came out of a coma, her body shattered, almost everyone including the doctors wrote off her career. Janelle refused. She hung on to her dream. For the next sixteen months, every day was a fight for a second chance.
On November 21, 2012, 2 years from the day of the accident, at the Globe Cinema in Calgary, there is going to be the film premiere of A Second Chance, the story of that fight.
Hosted by Dave Kelly, the event will feature a Q&A with Janelle, a reception, and the world premiere of the film. DVD's will be available.
