ARTwear - The Art of Fashion in Calgary!!!

...On November 6th,2009 in calgary had place an amazing event, The ARTwear -the Calgary's Fall Fashion Show hosted by the Art Gallery of Calgary. This high - energy fundraising event featured a runway show highlighting the season's must-have fashions for women&men from some of the hottest boutiques in Calgary.

The first part took place at The Art Gallery of Calgary, where everyone had chance to see a Wearable Art Fashion Show by Dee Fontans. The second part of the evening included both runway fashion show as well as Show & Silent Auctions.

I was there with one of my client and his friends, which gives me not only chance to see new fashion trends but also an opportunity to meet awesome people. We had great conversation with Jill Belland, on location host of BT Calgary as well as I met great photographers: Sabrina May and Tara Whittaker whose some of their work you can see on my blog.

...I met Liya and Thomas on their friends wedding in Red Deer, year before their own wedding..I had chance to do makeup for Liya for their engagement pictures so it was much easier and faster to provide my services on her wedding day - also because I was responsible for makeup for 5 of her bridesmaids..Unexpected - I also helped the Groom to look beautiful that day - and he really looked great - even without the makeup :-) Thank you both for being part of your Big Day!!!...

...I met Nishga right after I came to Canada 2 years ago. She was the winner of dance competition in Calgary and Rafal, from RWPhoto was one of the sponsors,giving away professional photoshoot for the winner...
